The Token 12 hour Cycling NSW State Endurance event was just on this last Saturday 6th March at the Penrith Regatta Centre .

Our club had 20 riders entered with four riders in Solo, one two person team, three teams in the Mens Fours and a team in the mixed Fours Veterans with combined total age >180.

As a club we had great success with Dr Rod Beckwith finishing second in the Veterans 12h Solo . Our CCCC A team riding 480kms comprising Mick Curran, Elliot Stevens and Pete Wickham finished in 3rd with just two metres separating them from 2nd place after the 12 hrs.  Also in the Mens fours we had a team finish in 5th with riders Mark Stapleton, Kane Kennett, Chris Murphy and Andrew Baker completing 475kms . A third team comprising Steve Wickham, Peter Krauss, Troy Patterson and Phil Campbell finished in 11th riding 450kms.

In the mens solo division we had three competitors Jason Reeves, Mick Frost and Phil Austin with Jason the best placed in 10th with 310kms.

In the Veterans Four mixed the CCCC team comprised John Hodgetts, Gary White , myself Wayne Mellis and our female rider Yoni Cross finished in 3rd place riding 455kms and securing the Bronze medal.

Finally in the pairs we had a brother and sister team Jarrod and Freya Scollay finish in 4th completing 435kms in the 12hrs.

Great results from all of the clubs riders with a Silver Medal and Two Bronze Medals secured.
